do you have any benchies from your old system to compare to? Would be good if you could let us people who've held on from c2q to get these (as no one seems to compare this lol).

Want to see if its worthwhile or not, dont really want to impulse buy.

Yeah I agree, I've been with my 4ghz E8400 for a few years now, wondering whether its worth it. lol

Not much of an increase in the graphics test fps.

Seems like the 6870 is going to be a bottleneck in gaming and the i5 2600K won't be helping much.

I know some people will say, well if it beats a 920 (example) it'll beat a q6600. Problem is there are no q6600 vs 920 tests so its hard to measure how 'much' it beats it by.

Im wanting the comparison, but then I'm not because its going to tempt me to get SB !

E8400 @ 4GHZ still very capable in gaming its a fantastic chip m8 wait for the IVY

But will IVY really be worth the wait? Whens that? Q4 2011? Q1 2012?

*EDIT*
Interesting results dave_beast. Your GraphicTest1 and 2 show just just slightly less fps, and graphics score, is only 2 more. but the Physics scores are quite a lot more.
