I hate builders

I can't move the dish back because they pushed the dish out of alignment so they could get their ladder in there. The ladder is attached to the scaffolding.

Well, you have a few choices...

1) Man up and go say something
2) Man up and go say something
3) Man up and go say something
or
4) Go to the pub for a few drinks while you have no TV

Its your place. If they have smashed your Window you have a right to say something, also tell them they will be getting the bill for the Sky engineer...

I dunno why people call them working class, my cousin who's 25 is a tiler in Canada, makes over 100k a year, owns his own huge house with a pool and a giant garage you could fit a 2 bedroom flat in, owns a cottage in the mountains , car, 2 dirt bikes, a quad bike, s boat, 2 snow mobiles, and yeah.... he owns his own tiling company and he works a lot and he's on his knees most of the day, but working class? Lol, i wouldnt mind being working class.

Arguably they still are.

You bet - without the working class this country would be completely finished.

he works a lot and he's on his knees most of the day, but working class?

Of course he is - but why is that a bad thing? There are many rich and succesful working class people! They just get on with things manually rather than sitting in an office..

It's a shame really, back in the 50's and 60's people were proud to be working class - they were the backbone of Britain.

I guess it was a bit different back then, these days people have different idea about class and a lot more people work in office jobs than say manufacturing etc...

Aside from tradesmen perhaps being 'working class' in a society that should, in theory, offer social mobility could be seen as being a low achiever.

Some people will proudly claim to be 'working class' with a sort of reverse-snobbery type attitude despite working in a very white collar job. Apparently a decent % of bank managers consider themselves to be 'working class'.

I guess other people are using it to refer to people living on council estates/audience of the Jeremy Kyle show etc..

I work in an office, so clearly what you think I meant isn't what I actually meant.

Then please explain because the way I read it was if you work in an office your not as good as those who don't...

May totally have the wrong end of the stick and sorry if I have but thats how I see it...

Doesnt matter where you work or what job you do, providing its an honest living and you are working it should matter...

Then please explain

I honestly can't be bothered, everyone else could see what I mean't. You've even grasped it in your last paragraph.

If I were you I'd continue to think I meant everyone who works in an office, like, say, an accountant, is less worthy than anyone who works manually

Lol you work in an office, as if you could be tired from sitting down all day.

:D

You'd be surprised...especially if the day has dragged.
Its the late shifts like these that get to me, especially when I've been up since 6am with the kids :( But, needs must I suppose :)
