I go to a breakfast meeting in a hotel each week and i have been having a full english. Now I am onto the muesli because I felt bad about eating all that fried food.

Is it really better for you to eat Muesli and toast or a full english, what do you reckon?

The full english is fried and not grilled. If I have it I have a fried egg, bacon, beans, mushroom, fried potato but no sausages as I dont like them. I mean fitness people drop dead in there prime as well as unhealthy people. I am middle of the road, I am not fat nor too skinny and I eat veg and excersise a bit soooo........

Balance is the key.. if your eating loads of fried stuff its not going to be good for you, theres also a lot of salt in an english breakfast like that, which you dont want to overdo.

But if your saying you have it once a week, i can imagine thats quite reasonable. As long as you eat generally healthily mid week and exercise.. youll be fine.

As has been said, balance and moderation are the keys to this. My wife worries a bit about our diet if we have chicken nuggets or pizza for tea, but as we only have that kind of "junk" once a fortnight or so, it's hardly a problem!

I'd say a fry up once a week is perfectly OK. Enjoy it!

PS I'll have your sausages if you don't want them.

Once a week is nothing. My uncle has about 5 fry ups a week and he looks like the kinda guy who normally eats sawdust bars [trackers, nutrigrain etc] for breakfast. Just goes to show you can eat crap and still keep in shape.

I missed out on a load of fry ups this week - was at a conference but we had to get up too early for me to feel like a fry up :(

They were the best meals as well. :/

Unfortuntely its not only what you look like on the outside but whats going on in your liver / arteries / heart that counts. His cholesterol might be sky high...

Like the others said, moderation is king here. If you completely cut out things you really like then you will only want them more. Once a week is fine imo as long as you have the rabbit food other times.
