Adrian Flux just sent me my reminder letter through for the next year.

My premium will be £25 apparently, which includes their £25 policy issue fee.
Quite a bargain then!

You sure you didn't just read the monthly payment bit? Directline do that:

Your renewal:

£29.45*

Annual cost: £353

* - per month, not inclusive of 14% APR

;)

Adrian Flux roxs for prices.
My fully modded Sammy was 189 quid with a 1.4 in it. My Vit is 139 quid with a 1.6i in it but no mods (As yet :D)
I rang them thinking the worst as you do & they end up owing me :D
My tax has gone up to 99 quid for 6 months though :(

I spoke to them on the phone regarding my renewal, they've pretty much halved it from last year with a number of mods declared.

The adviser said that they are actually cheaper for modded cars than completely standard.

None of mine like me, they always charge at least double at renewal time but it does not stop there.

They send letters saying "We have been working very hard" and then add more, last year it was 3 letters but this year at renewal I had a total of 6 letters going from 1k to 2.1k for a years renewal!

Surely if they've quoted you that price, and its been sent to you in writing, they have to honour it?

Pretty sure such a letter would be regarded as an invitation to treat, thus meaning the insurance company are not obliged to honour it.

I just got mine in as well. Went through two of the comparison sites and Esure offered me £350 compared to Admiral's £690 renewal quote (on both sites). Ohhh, I wonder what I'm gonna do :D

will also have a policy on clerical errors and if its a known error should be corrected soon, AF have just recruited a fair chunk of new staff so it was bound to happen
