I literally just put my finger on why I find the iPhone more enjoyable to use.

Should I lie and say it's perfectly fine and works exactly the same as the iPhone instead?! It was merely an interesting observation I noticed when scrolling through the menu that made me realise what it was about Android that just doesn't feel right in comparison to the iPhone. It's not my fault that it works that way. Some of you are way too defensive for some reason.

no one is asking you to lie but after mentioning the issue you have (scrolling etc), a solution is put forward to fix it and instead of looking into it and taking it on board, your argument then shifts to it being a "half-baked product" due to the fact you have to modify some stuff....

Add them then.

If the equivalent Android feature is missing from your iPhone you can add it al...oh wait - No you cannot.

Part of the point I was making - He moans because a feature/setting he wants is not stock but can be added/changed if he wants. A feature/setting that I want on an iPhone is not available and CANNOT be added/changed later.... What OS is really half-baked when you take this into account?

You should check out the Apple forum, where this type of thread would be deleted, as opposed to this which is clearly an attempt at elaborate trolling.

Yes, but just like Android itself, most people here are open minded and not brainwashed into "Apple is best... must buy Apple... Derp" :p

I was talking about the missing lock screen audio controls there. Although the poor finger tracking is also a big issue that Samsung needs to resolve. There is currently nothing I can do about that unless I'm prepared to hack and modify the phone (which I'm not). These are just all things I believe should work straight out of the box when I've spent £480 on a phone. I don't know why people keep on bringing up 'missing features on the iPhone' too. We're talking about what's missing on the SGS3, not the iPhone. It's like people are trying to justify it's OK that the SGS3 doesn't do X, Y and Z because the iPhone doesn't do A, B and C! I'm not interested in excuses, I just want to know how the finger tracking issue can be resolved, and how to put music controls on the swipe to unlock lock screen.

Because you were the one to bring up the comparison with the iPhone in the first place insinuating that, because it is on your iPhone, it should be on the S3.... Hell, even your thread title and original post is all about comparing your iPhone with the S3.

You cannot state why one product is better than the other and not expect to have people turn that on its head when they disagree with you.

You are right though. You aren't interested in excuses, you only seem interested in stating your opinion and no-one is allowed to take you to task on it should they disagree with it.

Also a note for JB, using it for 1 week on a GN I think its is by far the fastest OS, everything I find is very very instant and I love the on screen keys, the multi tasking key making it a joy to switch tasks and I hate Samsung for not following this.

That's what I don't understand, Samsung made the GN and yet they then release the S3 with a hardware home button and capacitive buttons, yet the GN has neither and is better for it IMO.
