I have to say, although i thought TR3 was ok, the whole series kinda went a bit poop def from 4 onwards, and Angel of Darkness, well i couldnt even be bothered after 10 minutes.

But this....this is awesome, such fluid play - i love how easy the combat it and the variety of moves. It has huge replay ability, ive completed it on hard, done the time trials and now i wanna go back through untill ive got a 100% save game with all secrets.

I simply get stunned everytime i pull off one of Lara's magnificant moves, such as moving forward taping jump until she does that lovelt summersault thing! And the other variations including cartwheels, just to finish off by whipping out my pistols and shooting some mofo!!

From the ending im certainly praying for another installment with even more funfilled action! Crystal Dynamics have done a bang up job with this.

So all in all, if you dont own this game go buy it, simply fantastic - maybe short for some and with a lack of multiplayer it IS CERTAINLY worth a rent! and for the gamerscore hogs amoung you (*cough Wyrdo :P cough*) a relatively easy 1000 points.

...Thanks for reading :D

I liked you up until that point! ;)

Edit: Actually, while I'm here I'll ask this. Somehow, whilst fighting a bunch of guys, I managed to pull off some kinda Matrix-esque slow mo ninja move. How on Earth did I do that?

Yes, you, like me me, had this down as a definite, even more so than Oblivion and I didn't feel let down one bit at all.

Lock on the enemy and press A near him, it will run up the enemy, kick off his face and backflip, allowing you to shoot him in slow motion.

Run up very close to the ememy and press jump. You do a back flip off them :)

it is a good game (completed pc version) but they need to make game less linear and make it more like the 1st with vast expansive area's and then not knowing what you have to do, having the camera which you used to find out what the important parts in the room did made it to easy and having certain things glint/shine to tell you its important ruined it abit making the puzzles too easy.

Then they have to drop the chase sequances like on the bike , its not needed and again makes it too linear.

and lastly make the game twice as long.

Apart from that yes its better than all the rest except for the 1st which still shines in comparision.

i loved it, will definately buy the next game in the series now, cant seem to shift it now though every1 has it.tomb raider 2 is stil my all time fav though

I was hugely impressed by the demo tbh. I'm not a TR fan, and really haven't like the older versions mainly because of the puzzle element where I end up checking forums/faqs for solutions more then actually playing the game.

The TR demo on the 360 was very neat though and looking at the xbox forums, a lot of people were praising it which is a rare sight over there. I won't get it because I just don't like puzzle games, but it's good to see a quality looking title.

to b honest its not that puzzle, well not really hard anyway :) Previous TR games ive needed help, but this one required a few minutes tops to figure out *** to do. Give it a chance im sure ** love it

i'm well pleased with TR and am enjoying it a lot, and a lot more than i enjoyed oblivion.

probably because there wasn't much hype surounding TR. it just quietly slipped onto the shelves and everyone seems to really like it. oblivion however, was over hyped completely and in the end dissapointed me. same happened with me and halo 2 last year!

it's always the ones that you least expect isn't it :)

Hmm, I'll keep an eye out for it on MM soonish then. I'm actually considering selling Oblivion in future once the patch comes in so I can finish off a bugged key quest. The game is just too addictive even though I've already reached the 'end' portion of the game.

Its a good game graphically, but graphics alone do not make a good game. This is a game that was designed for 12 year old kids. You are basically led by the hand through each short level.Wheres the exploration gone??? Well there isnt any in Legend.Im a huge tomb raider fan having played all the series...but i just feel hugely let down by this game.

Ive not touch oblivion in over 3 weeks, partly cos i was on holiday secodly this and tospin2 are much more fun.

I've just got all the achivement points now, and a 95% complete save game! Gonna spend tomorrow getting all the secrets, got em all for first 3 levels.

I might sell it after that however because although its fun once you've done evrything, with no multiplayer i might not play it to much, so might exchange for Burnout.
