Basically I was meant to be somewhere yesterday, but I didn't attend because I was sure my appointment was today..

I need an excuse that is good enough for me not going, and preferably also explains why I didn't ring in to tell them..

I expect the usual funnies in this thread, but if someone could give me a serious answer that'd be great. :p
 
No guys, the excuse has to be valid otherwise I'm in big trouble.

'I'm an idiot and thought my appointment was today' simply is not good enough. If I could get away with being honest, I would, believe me..
 
You were getting something out the cupboard and the dog pushed you in.

Hence breaking your leg. The dog then locked you in.

The chances are they won't believe any excuse, then you'll be down as unreliable and dishonest.

Sometimes you just have to put your hands up and say 'I ****ed up'.
