I need a good headset that will actually last please

Hello there,

I need your advice again people :)

im after a headset, after my 3rd pair of plantronics kicks the bucket, every time its been the cable that goes to the left side of the headset that been playing about (it works when you tape it in a certain direction, move it and it stops)

it now wont work at all som im back to speakers and annoying my housemates when playing FPS's late into the night

so im after a headset that will last please, recommendations of makes and models please :)

Steelsound 5h v2, only one cable, cloth covered.
One cable because u can detach the headset

Sound quality and mic quality are great, retractable mic works a treat
I have never regretted my purchase one bit
(This was my 4th headset as well after the other three died :( )
 
yea only 1 cable on the plantronics, just seems to detach itself over time and use

Thanks for the suggestion, any more? if a clear winner comes out on top then that'll be my choice
