1. will my ocz gamestream 600w be enough ?

2. will it fit in my ds3 in the antec 900 ?

3. will i be cpu limited as i run the 6300 at standard 1.8ghz.

ty!

If you psu has 2xpci-e connectors it will run fine though you may encounter problems when overclocking the gpu as it allegedlly needs an 8pin connector to provide enough juice to overclock.

It will fit in an antec 900

It shouldn't affect your cpu's overclock.

As Weebo said, but...

Why aren't you running your cpu at 3.2Ghz (as per sig).

If your planning to run an R600 with your cpu at stock 1.8Ghz, then yes, you will be cpu limited.

The R600 will fit your case as its the same size as your x1950 XT, dont know about PSU requirements yet, all we know is it works on a 1000w. :)

if you get a ernermax PSU anyway it will work because thay have a 6pin and a 8pin plug, the 650 and 750W versions that is.

but it works on two 6 pin ones tho, the other 2 pins is for overclocking

When i run it at that speed, or even 2.1ghz, it works fine but the system will crash, demand me to remove the bios battery (shorting the bios doesnt work) or just keep booting and rebooting.

Even the pc shop (the last resort(who had to build it for me because it just booted and rebooted on first install)) cant suss it out. Its either bad ram, which has been tested and is ok, or bad mainboard, or bad cpu, or bad hdd, all have been tested. just one of those things i guess!

Update your sig then dude, if you can't run your cpu at 3.2 then don't lie ! ;)

Damn these new fangled 8 pin thingymejigs :D

my Hiper 'SplOsive' 580 only has 1 PCI-E. can you use conversion plugs from molex/6 pin pci-e to 8 pin?
You must likely find that the hiper 580watt PSU's are not really powerful enough...as they only has something like 360watts on the 12volt rail...http://www.jonnyguru.com/review_details.php?id=26

A PSU like the Corsair HX520W 520watt has 480watts on the 12volt rail..

Plus these R600 are meant to use one 6 pin and one 8 pin connector...
