WHY didn't I do this sooner???? Probably because the front indicators are silly money and you can only get original Nissan ones. Still, 15 mins of fitting and they've completely changed the look of the car. It looks so much fresher now without all the nasty orange. Really pleased Just need to fit my silver bulbs when they arrive to take away the fried egg effect!

From this... (you can't see, but the right indicator is cracked and full of water. It was working intermittently due to the corrosion on the back of the bulb... so I had to replace them really )

Just need to wait for it to dry off a bit so I can do an oil change and give her a wash.

Yes I know it needs lowering, FMIC, new wheels etc. etc. etc.... but unfortunately the mortgage needs to be paid, so saving £40 per month to the "car fund" takes a while before you have any significant sum of money!! :(
 
Well it took me a while... I've had it 8 months. I have been keeping an eye on all the breaking threads on SXOC, but the front clear indicators ALWAYS go first. I decided in the end that I just needed to bite the bullet, especially as one of my owinge ones needed replacing anyway.
 
It does indeed. Can't believe I left it so long! Going to have to take it out and re-take all the photos I've done of it because they all look rubbish now :D
 
I don't know why cars still come with horrid orange indicators. If I was a car designer, I'd be embarrassed to let it leave the factory with them. Such a simple and worthwhile mod.

Well to be fair it is 9 years old :D But yeah, I don't understand why they don't just make them white as standard.

You just lost the JDM effect lol

I think some times amber repeaters can be cool on a JDM theme car, I know a lot of people hate it though.

Nice car anyway, love the front lights on these.

They probably make them orange because they know they can make money out of selling the white ones - who would buy the orange ones if they made them white?
 
Yeah but it's still TYTE, YO! ;)

Not planning on doing anything else on the outside apart from maybe wheels eventually, getting bits resprayed where required and taking off the washer jets on the front bumper when that gets re-sprayed (they don't work anyway). I actually really love the way it looks as standard, so it's staying that way :)
