I ordered something from online on the 23rd dec - Is hasn't come so is it lost?

Hi there, just wanted you advice on what to do, coz I ordered something online on wednesday 23rd dec and got an email from them on 28th saying it was dispatched and now it's the 4th jan so it's been like 12 days in total so would you consider this to be lost and if so what can I do about it?

Because how can I prove I didnt recieve it? It only cost £20 but it's still annoying me?

EDIT: Looking at calander using the dates I've given you, if it was ordered on 23rd even though its been 12 days, because of christmas, weekends, and new years, does that mean its only been 3 working days, and if so does that sound right to you and therfore I shouldnt worry? It was ordered from a website with free delivery and next day delivery it usually always comes the next day.

I wouldn't consider it lost yet as whilst you ordered it on the 23rd it would appear from what you have typed that it wasn't dispatched until the 28th ... except the 28th was a bank holiday (as Boxing Day fell on the weekend) so it probably wasn't picked up by the courier/Royal Mail until the 29th.

Either way it's been barely a week since it was sent with another bank holiday in that period so it's far to early to claim it's lost yet.

Shouldn't you be asking them? Most places send you some sort of confirmation that your order has been dispatched. Have you had that?

i agree with roid, contact the place you ordered from or the courier.
