I liked this joke because the initial thread title led me to believe that the OP had posted a joke on an internet forum using his computer, which of course should not cost anything except perhaps the fractional cost of the internet connection and electricity used which to all intents and purposes can be counted as zero for the purposes of this post.

Then the actual content of the post stated that it cost 60 pence, which is the new price of a first class stamp. It therefore seems that the title was designed to mislead slightly given that apparently it refers to posting a joke on a piece of paper using the Royal Mail service. The contrast of my initial expectations to the actual content of the OP was mildly surprising and unexpected and therefore elicited a humorous response.
