I reckon Manchester United will win the 2006 Premiership

I just don't see where chelsea will drop 9 points, surely man utd would need them to lose at least one of the games before they played them to really apply the pressure.

I forsee Chelsea can lose any of these games:

Chelsea v West Ham
Bolton v Chelsea
Chelsea v Everton
Chelsea v Man Utd
Blackburn v Chelsea

There will be added pressure from referees this weekend (fact) and going forward as the FA have expressed to Fifa how much more they want diving do be stamped out and lets be honest - Chelsea have the biggest offenders! I think this will not suit Chelsea's style of play and frutrate them, they are not a team that plays well under pressure from the ref (even their own fans boo Drogba on occassion) and mr Mourhino isnt exactly a cool customer - this filters through the team and overall, the blues believe they are above the game and the authority.
Man U are on a roll, their strikers are in form and hungry - They'll beat Chelsea (I believe on a gut instinct) and 6 points will be made up no problem - It wasnt too long ago when they nicked the premiership crown by 1 point so dont think it cant be done.

Of those games, the team's I feel could do them over are United, Blackburn and Bolton which would leave us needing goal difference which seems to finally be a possibility.

Who knows if we'll drop points? We've just won 7 on the bounce in the league and aside from the Arsenal and Chelsea matches the only one that really concerns me is the Bolton match on Saturday as they always seem to give the big teams a problem.

It may be quite a statement but, I just got a feeling, a hunch, a niggle, call it what you want and yeah you can even call me crazy but here's my thoughts.

Looking at Chelsea just 9 Points above Man U and the 2 teams remaining games I favour Man U to finish far stronger and Chelsea to have a *deserved* nightmare end to this years Premiership - This is just a thought once again.
However, easily possible - oh and for the record, Liverpool will beat them in the FA cup semi too.

Lets See.

I hope so. If they lost few points and ManU can close the gap to 3 points, the match between them will make more interesting to watch. They seem not as stong as last season.

No chance, what so ever.

You should be able to write off games like away at chelsea and liverpool and take the lost points on the way to winning the league.

You cant even consider counting poins gained by beating chelsea away in your calculations.
Its poor performances against the likes of city and blackburn that have cost us this season, and that is the ONLY thing we need to correct to make a more convincing challenge next season.

The performances against city an blackburn was awful and not acceptable. However, we have got important win against Portsmouth, Fulham. I think Man U need to do better against teams at lower table. More consistency next season. The good thing is our three main strikers are on form now, not forget to mention about Rossi. He has huge potentials..

I reckon it will be a close one but at the end of the day i still think Chelsea will have what it takes to win it again. Not sure about FA semi though. Should be good.

Whilst I don't think it will happen, it has annoyed me that everyone in the media said Chelsea had it wrapped up months ago when they never.

Considering the injuries we had at the start of the season and the awful patch of form (Benfica/Lille time) it's amazing we are where we are.

Can't see it happening myself, but I think it'll come down to a small margin, which is brilliant, for the past few months, we've only got closer. If we get a good start to next season it'll be a real contest again.

Definetly not going to win it by the 9th April anyway ;)

dont u mean, since our manager sold all our center midfielders and refrained from replacing them,

and despite throwing away our champions league and fa cup aspirations

we still arent really in contention for the league, despite having nothing else tp focus on all season...
