I think I ust killed my PC.

Was changing my stock VGA cooler today and all went well. I decided to move my LCD post close to inside my case, I unplugged it from the motherboard and back in again after I moved the clock. Now my PC won't start and the LEDS are green/red/orange on my motherboard. The clock just says CPU Initializing. There's a beating sound coming from my speakers sounds like a faster heart beat.... HELP!

first thing to try is change that vga cooler back and try it

It's not the cooler because it worked with that. Plus it should post without the VGA card. All the fans and hard drives are working but it just won't post.

have you got the lcd post in the right motherboard headers

clear the cmos? make sure all power connecters are in

Tried both them suggestions, no luck

It's magically gone goofy I have taken the CMOS battery out too still no good.

Damn I can't fix it

It says CPU Init and all the leds are on crazy mode, normal mode and high mode! What's going on

I can't work out from your posts what you changed, but I can deduce that the system is no longer working and that it looks rather likely to be user error.

Strip it down to the bare minimum and try to get it to make error beeps. It should complain about missing ram, missing graphics card. If it doesn't it's not looking good for the board.

Thanks Jon, I changed the LCD POSTER unplugged it and plugged it back in. Then it broke. I stripped it but no luck and tried old ram and clearing bios many times. Tried leaving it unplugged for 30 minutes. Re-seated CPU. I don' t get the beeps my case has no speaker

YES!!!! it's working, 2 pins was touching each other on the LCD POSTER socket. woooot!
