From someone who has owned 3 iPhones (currently the iPhone 4). Really doubt my next phone will be an Apple unless the iPhone 5 is something special.
Apple hasn't really innovated for some time. The retina display was good two years ago, but is easily surpassed by the S3. Notification bar, sat-nav etc were all just catching up with the lead set by Andrioid. The iPhone 4S brought nothing new to the table really and iOS is still as drab as ever and likely won't get an update in style for another year after iOS 6 comes out.
