Hey,

Spec Below :

AMD Phenom X3 720 BE
Arctic 64 Pro Cooler
Crucial 4GB RAM
2 x 120mm's Fans
ASUS 4850
Akasa Neo Vortexx Cooler
Coolermaster 460W PSU (Will replace with Corsair soon!)

Well, I added the akasa neo vortexx cooler to the 4850 card and on start up i noticed there was 2 beeps from the motherboard and the monitor had a blank screen.. on the card itself it also had d1601 lit up.. I've googled around and found something about RAM parirty error .. however before i added the cooler it was working fine but noisy as hell... the new cooler does spin and also lights up nicely.. Any Ideas?

hey, thanks for the quick replies..

i threw away the old cooler unfortantely, which also means warranty is voided which i am aware of (although i doubt there was any left)... if my card is broken i wouldnt mind forking out on a new psu + 5770 thats if the graphics card is the problem..about the mobo manual i've checked in there and it says nothing about the beeps.. any other ideas will be helpful.

Are you sure that the power connectors are attached fully ?

^ yeah double checked, i've also tried taking out the motherboard battery and putting it back in a couple of seconds later..same problem 2 beeps from motherboard and blank screen.
