We're paying over £1k for a good local photographer in the North East, methinks Raymond might be closer to the £3-4k bracket.

I'd rather pay a stranger a few quid to take a pictures with my dads 90 quid camera than pay anywhere near that much for a few pictures :eek:

You're paying for more than just come pictures.

Just for example, at least 12 hours of someones time (usually atleast two people) in one day, plus all the post processing time afterards.

I was lucky with my photographer! Neil Sampson from here did it for free as it was his first wedding

Photographers getting wound up always makes me laugh

The photos from OP story are just shocking though, why would they even attempt to do a wedding? I could do 1000x better than that and I just mess about with my camera for fun.
