I think Raymond has been up to it again

This is what happens when the lines between a hobby and 'being a pro' become so blurred. A DSLR and piratebay mean anyone can think they are a pro for less than 500 quid these days...

Wow, that's shocking.

Also, a +1 to the Raymond having awesome photos, I always check out his shots that he puts on FB :)

Likewise. And I'm always massively impressed. I have no idea how he does it, and how much PP he does, but even that leg shot above.... just look at it :)

Funny photos from the wedding. I have to echo what people have said here about Raymond, I love seeing his photos on this forum.

They seem deliberately sabotaged. How is it possible to take photograph's that terrible, even more so without realising? An ordinary person with a 1.3mp phone camera would have achieved better photograph's.

To be fair there are other fantastic photographers on this forum and it's unfair that they don't get the praise that Raymond does because they don't spam their watermarks all over the place.

Unfair? If you cannot be bothered to be savvy enough to get your name out that is no one else's fault. Being modest and not showcasing your work when the opportunity arises in this type of business won't get you too far.

This forum doesn't allow advertising of businesses so people don't tend to advertise. Raymond did and got in trouble for it.

Personally i don't like watermarking but when it comes to getting your name out there for event photography or a trade then it needs to be there to get clients.

It's just awful when people get their first SLR and put "Joe Bloggs Photography" all over it like it's THE best picture ever taken and they're now pro. Let the pictures speak for themselves and just embed all your details into the metadata so it doesn't become an orphan image if you're so worried or exclusively only put pictures on your own website!
