i've got the urge again, i bought a hardtail last year and i'm really enjoying cycling i'm mainly offroad and i ride to work everyday and want to keep my hardtail for cycling to work.
i really want to go to the next level in biking i looking for a full suspension.
the budget is £1500 can you recommend me one.

Theyre 2010 models which is why theyre on sale but there are only certain sizes available which is almost a shame cos I quite fancy a Remedy lol

i've decided to go for xc full sus i'm looking at the santa cruz superlight but that means spending at least £2100.
can you guys spec me again , a bike like the santa but for £1500 and is it necessary to have a full sus?

You really need to decide what type of mountain bike riding you want to do.
You just posted that you want an XC full sus bike (SC Super Light) then you link to a hard hitting All Mountain Orange Crush hard tail.



Full sus isn't essential but you'll find it more comfortable and you'll go quicker over rough terrain. The downsides are higher cost, increased maintenance and weight.

My personal view is go full sus. I rode a high end Scott Scale Hard Tail race bike a while back and it was very unforgiving.

thanks for all the help guys decided to go for the focus thunder3.0 becuase of the lower price which means next year i will be getting a few upgrades on it (forks,rear shock and saddle), i really enjoy riding the bike it's light and the forks despite being suntour they are so smooth i really like them.brakes are so powerful. i'll get some pics up tomorrow.
