I want a Pet Bird

I want a pet bird, but I don't know what to go for. I had a budgie who I tamed very quickly, I had it for 3 years but it passed on earlier this year.

So I'm looking to get a bird again, but think it would be better getting two this time.

What can you guys recommend?

It's hardly cruel; as long as it's fed and watered and gets to fly around in a bit of space frequently.

Its thought process of squawk, peck, squawk, drink is hardly going to be overshadowed by the constant thought of bigger and better things and a life without a cage.

Wood pigeons, gotta love em, especially when seen down the barrel of a 12 bore shotgun, pretty tasty as well,
