My Coolermaster ATCS 110 is getting long in the tooth now, I've had it for over 10 years now and my Thermaltake TRUE is pushing right up against the side panel :D

I want to replace it with a similar sized case, currently 484H, 196W, 535D

Only need space for 3 hard drives max and 1 blu ray drive.

The ones I've found so far that I like are..

Coolermater Silencio

and the

Fractal Design Define R3

I like the sleek look of both and the fact that they don't have a window..

The Fractal has space for loads of 120mm fans, which is a plus. Whatever case I get, I'll be fitting it with Xilence Red Wing fans throughout and any rear 'finger protector' things will be cut out :D

Roughly £80 is my top limit, but it is a limit and not a target :), any other cases I should look into?

Of the two linked above, i prefer the look of the fractal a bit more. Not so keen on the glossy front of the silencio. Though ive seen a few reports of fractal's build quality being a bit iffy.

You could always look at the cases both those manufacturers appear to have borrowed heavily from - Antecs Performance One range

I hate windowed, overmeshed or oversized cases so I went for the mATX mini P-180, optical in the top 5.25" and two HDD in the bottom 5.25" bays.

However I've got a bay adapter incoming to change the bottom 2 x 5.25" bays into 3 x 3.5" HDD bays with a 80mm fan.

Actually tbh you're not going to get one of those in a £80 budget.

I've been looking at these two cases myself. I originally had my heart set on the Fractal, but then i started to read about the build quality issues and came across the Silencio which seems quite good for the price. Not too sure if u can fit a big cooler like the silver arrow in however, this is kind of putting me off.

The price is what is drawing me to it more and more..

If I get a Fractal and it's build quality is bad, I'll just send it back. They can't all be bad though..?

Thats a smart case. Currently building one. Though I fitted the roof and floor with more acoustic foam. As I saw in the Youtube reviews they said it was lacking it. Hopefully I'll have it up and running this week to see.

Not all R3s have been bad lately. Have you seen the Fractal build quality thread? It looks like a gamble at around 50/50. My R3 was mostly fine, just a few small niggles but no actual damage. It's a great case, and definitely smart.
