I want an XBOX for XMAS

Never really played on one. I play games on my PC.

All my mates have them so I want to join the club.

What are best deals at moment? Is it best to get Xbox elite?

The only game I want at moment is the new Call of Duty.

Plenty of places you can get a 120gb Elite and COD MW2 for £200. You might get one a few £ cheaper or with a 2nd cheap game as well, but that's what you are looking at really.

I wanna get my GF one for xmas I'm going for a deal that is the elite and 2 chart games for £199.99 - it works out that your getting about £80 worth of games for free

There is an elite with 2 games advertised on the TV at the moment, I don't remember where from though but it has been on all week.

It was around £170-£180 It may even be 3 games.

You can get an elite (120gb hdd) with COD MW2 and Forza 3 for £199 inc. delivery if you hunt about from a pretty mainstream high street game/console/etc shop.

You can have mine with no pads or leads for £500 it has no box and smells of fish. £580 with a ham sandwich thrown in.

so what exactly do I need?

Xbox console, a controller, does it come with leads for tv?

I will want live. My router is downstairs and my xbox will be upstairs.. so some sort of lead?

Everything you will need will be in the box apart from either a long ethernet cable (standard is 1 or 2 m) or wireless adaptor which will need to be purchased seperately. I cant see if you have stated what sort of TV you have but Microsoft no longer supply an HDMI cable with the Elite, not a big deal though as you can pick them up cheap if you have an HD TV. You will need a live sub too but you get a free month when you create an account and they can be picked up for around £26 for 12 months.

I recon I'll get a 360 for Xmas aswell. Had to sell my last one so I could put funds towards my motorbike. I do miss it though.

Can't wait to play MW2 and Assassins Creed. :cool:
