No just a BMW, I really want to say I got a BMW as my first car .

Whilst you can get a nice looking black E30 318 (non-IS) for around 700 quid (in good condition, without too much grot)....the real killer is the insurance.

They carry high premiums to say the least and I've always had difficulty getting reasonable prices for them (quoted on 318iS, 318, 325s as I almost bought one of each over the summer ).

So it's worth looking into that element first as you may find it totally unreasonable
