You knwo the church hall next to me is used for non Christian events/groups too.

Believe it or not there are lots of religious groups who just want to improve the area and don't actually care if you believe in their god.

Why not, Where I used to live was a multi-cultural centre that was used by everyone, they held Festivals, Pool nights, Parties, Circus Club for the kids and all sorts. It was funded by the local Muslim Society and the Afro-Caribbean Centre.

You are just pandering to stereotypes.

I'd feel so left out.

If it's reported to have been in plans for turning into a multi-cultural centre, then accept it as so. I don't know why certain people would think it was a bad thing before anything bad had even happened because of it. The only bad thing that has happened is either a fool acted as an arson and delayed a great opportunity for the community, or a really unfortunate accident occurred.

I feel sorry for those near the blaze.

Why would a Muslim group buy a centre and call it multi-cultural? nope all you will get there is to learn about how the prophet Muhammed raped and pillaged.
It's a muslim only centre there are many like it popping up throughout the country.

Knowing the area I really can't see anyone local being involved at all, they are all too ****ing stupid and lazy to start a fire around there. I had to laugh when the article said a few residents had been moved to shelter in Deeside Leisure Centre, having been in Deeside Leisure Centre I can say hand on heart that they would have been better off sheltering them in the burning building itself the place is such a dive.
