Which 400w supply do you have now?

I'm running my X1950 Pro on a 380w Enermax Liberty without any problems.

^what he said. see my sig. :D

You can't go wrong with the Corsair 520. It also has the 6pin connectors so that shouldn't be a problem to you, unlike other people who needed a converter thing.

ah but the OP is interested in the sapphire card, not the HIS. this has dual molex connectors.... :p

DO NOT get the Corsair 520W!!

Get the

Corsair 620W!!! got mine a few days ago, really is great :D

Thank you all for your generous reply about my thread

Hi everyone

i would like to thank you all for your quick reply.I would go either with (corsair or enermax).

for COB: i have (colorit) psu 400w.

you recommend me for psu SLI compliant,i don't have motherboard with SLI compliant,i have normal AGP interface.

My motherboard: asus K8Vse deluxe

I opened the case,i need at least 8 molex:
1:dvd rom
1:dvd writer
1:1st hard disk
1:2nd:hard disk
1: for the graphic card
1:extractor fan
2:molex for cooler 2 hard disks
2 molex for 2 90mm fan

As you can see i need a lot of molex plug, this without the IDE cable plug as well.

I think i need 600w.

What do you think?

please psu with agp interface,NOT SLI compliant.

I hope to hear from you soon.as you always do .

Thank you in advance

That doesn't matter it will work fine, SLi compliant just means it has enough power to power 2x cards in SLi basically, so willeasily cope with a single card. :)

this update for my thread

hi again

This is what written in my psu case:
model: color it

AC input: 230 vac 10A 50-60 hz

In Your list You have nothing that will need lots of constant power

most PSU's now have what they call dual rail to try to keep the power more stable to the vital areas. This is not always a good thing as it requires You to do the load balacing
for most they will have specific feeds for the GFX cards ( High power requirement) just as the motherboard has its own feeds so the manufactures have saved You the head scratching ;)

All You need to worry about is a converter to make that PCI GFX card feed convert to two molex fittings for Your own Card

The rest ot the Molex connections split up equally

Now this is for the Enermax, the modular type PSU's will require I assume a little more understanding of the whole thing which like many, Many, People seems a bit of a black art to You !

again thank you all

hi

i would like to thank you all ,for your kindness help i received from all of you.

i will go either to enermax or corsair(550w)

My kindest regards
