If it's less than a year old it's under manufacturer's guarantee - ring Epson (not the store, Epson deal with the first-year guarantee repair) or just pop into an express centre and they should do the work for you and recommend what to do from there.
If it's less than 28 days old, you are entitled by consumer rights law to return any faulty product to the store and ask for your money back. Don't demand your money back or they'll just think you're a pompous git and won't bother to serve you in the speediest of manners (trust me on this one

If you have an extended warranty past the first year, phone your warranty provider (the store's main telephone number will give you options to get through usually) and they'll probably replace it - most will give you vouchers to buy whatever you want.
