Hi I have been sitting at 4.6ghz for a week or so and all benchmarks seem to work fine. Although my temps seem to be going up. My max was 68 on IBT but now are 75c and same room temp of 21c. Just looked at some other threads and am thinking maybe my voltages are maybe a bit off? I followed the bit-tech MSI guide and just used their setting except I went to 4.6 instead of 4.5ghz

Do these look ok/normal?

Would adjust PLL to 1.9, not a great idea to leave it on auto in case it overvolts. Temps look ok for IBT given that I get 50's on water and low 60's after an hour of Lynx.

Ok not sure what this even does tbh, have changed it to 1.9 though.

it might be worth trying to drop the CPU Voltage to 1.3. i have a i5 2500k clocked to 4.4GHz and my voltage is 1.25 stable.

so dropping your voltage might make a difference.

Changed to 1.3 and did prime95 and IBT no problem thanks.
Is that it then everything ok just to leave now?

I've got my 2500k running at 4.6ghz on Asus mobo, but got 1.35v, my noctua keeps temps 55-60ish during prime 95. Looking at yours maybe I should lower the volts a lot. I'm looking to get more out of the system as I think i can easily get 4.8ghz, just can't find the right settings (too many)

I have roughly the same temps under prime95, IBT seems to get it another 10 degrees hotter for me. I did have a 4.8ghz overclock but decided to come back to 4.6ghz just to keep things cooler and not to overstress anything.

My settings were:
48x
1.35v
1.18 IO voltage
1.19 SA voltage

I tried 1.30v and i BSOD'd. 1.325v made a game crashed(hadnt had time to stress test it), running at 1.34v. I need to mess with the other settings (IO and SO)

looks perfectly fine. in fact you seem to have a much lower vcore than i have to use on the majority of cpus at work. most need around 1.34 for 4.6ghz

apart from PLL needing to be at 1.9 ideally, you have it spot on.

I have to disable my PLL overvoltage because I'm getting problem of screen not coming on after returning from sleep. Don't know if this is just Asus mobo fault, but Asus blamed it on microsoft.

Thanks it seems to be working no problem with PLL at 1.9 and cpu at 1.3v, it was fine before but using less volts got to be good I suppose.
