i5 760 Temp? (~75 degrees)

As you don't stress your cpu constantly the temps will be fine, and the amount of life reduced will be next to nothing.

I would just keep a eye out whilst using the pc until a new better cooler is sourced and also pick up some thermal cleaner, I use the Akasa stuff which is pretty good.
