i5 sandybridge or hold out for later revision ivybrige

Well, to throw in my 2cents worth (even though a few members have the best ideas covered)

4 months ago I made the switch from 775 to 1155 and my initial plan like many happy power users was to dive right in and grab the i5 2500k.. Awesome chip, however after a little reading about I learnt about the ivy bridge release on the horizon;

After all the figures / costs / time to wait i've been reading i figured it personally worthwhile to hold out.. basically the i5 3570k (ivy-b) set to replace the current 2500k is rumoured to not be all that much more if any in cost to the current cost of its sandybridge sibling.. Obviously that's debatable but its rumoured around the $200 mark on release so it's a case of wait and see..

I decided to throw a pentium g630 in to see me right for a temp measure.. and tbh. its done everythin ive asked of it; granted.. the extra kick im gonna get from my new cpu when i get it will be welcomed massively, but i still play bf3 / mw3 on ultra etc and its not skipped a beat as of yet..! I Just cant wait for gen3 grahpics to see if the power really is improved as much as they claim it should be!
