...so chip is a tad under 4.00Ghz.

I have done nothing else other than up the multiplier and I am at about 62C on Prime 95 blended. Is that temp OK? I could increase the fan speed on the CPU cooler a bit more but want to find balance between noise and cooling.

What to try next please to get up to 4.5Ghz where I will be happy at.... ??

Thanks, KS

Set volts at 1.35v and multiplier to 46, that should give you a stable overclock of 4.6Ghz. :)

As someone who's never overclocked (waiting on my new IB), they seem to have made the whole process much easier if that's all you need to do...

I guess i shouldn't complain though.

OK - so I increased the multiplier to x43. Not touched voltages. Seems OK still. Will see how it goes for a day or two and then will up it to x46, still on stock voltage.
