i7 920 + 1800MHz safe?

I watched video on youtube with the guys from tiger direct. They said while reviewing the P6T that Intel advises not using over 1600MHz ram or it could damage the i7.

What do you think? would you or have you got 1800MHz+ in your i7 build?
