The only binning that takes place is if the CPU can run at specifications. Beyound that nothing special.
Bit of a update from my side.
I have three 950 CPU's and not one of them will do 200+ BLK.
Yet my trusty 920 will do 223 BLK just fine. All testing was done on water and very very noisy fans. Basically tempretures were not an issue on any of the runs.
Ram again was not an issue. As the sticks I am using are quite comfortable running 2000MHz Cas6 at 1.66 volts.
I am going to spend a little time later tonight with the best of the three 950's to see what I can get out of it. But unless I freeze the sucker I can not see getting about 4.2GHz stable enough to run Vantage Performance benchmark.
So q6600 looks like you have a not bad CPU there and the less I say about sayso's really good (no bloody good) bit of silicone the better - envy is a terrible thing.

Any time you want to send it over here for me to play benching with it just shout and I will forward my addy.
