So you paid about 3x as much as an essentially identical 950. About £500 extra for that unlocked multiplier... and you never used it?!! You thought £500 was a good deal for a few hundred MHz extra (that you could have gotten yourself easily for free from any i7 ever made)? Intel must love people like you. I'll have your money please, but you can keep your sense (or lack of it) to yourself :p :)
 
Buy a Noctua NH-D14 cooler, overclock and by the standards quoted in performance to cost ratio... your getting a £1500 improvement atleast for £60.

Blimey, you could use some software OCing nonsense in windows and get more of a performance boost.

Excuse me why I go and beat up my unborn son now, with a sack of Spam. Such an act will rationalize the scare I have suffered from this thread. SCARED!
