I7 Price increases.... reasoning?

tbh just get the 930, oc to 3ghz...the 930 is the exact same chip as a 950, just speed binned for a lower price point...

Though I would also have got it if I had to buy an I7, if the 950 had remained at £211.00

Yep, going up to 20%

Will put us at the same rate as around 10 other EU countries.. not so bad but still I preferred the 15% a year or 2 ago

A lot of places are also pricing ahead of the VAT increase, so come 2011 they can pretend they're passing on savings to us.

i3 has been dropping in price like crazy, £75 for a processor that can clock up to 4GHz with no worries = awesome
