i9 14900k (high voltage)

Hi,

my friend has a i9 14900k and is a little worried about high voltages. Just wondering if anyone has any tips. ( on lastest bios )

How is the BIOS configured? Is this using one of the Intel profile(s)?

He is using an intel profile, apparently the first one out of 3 you can select.

1.452v isn't high for a 14900K, though you don't want it running much above that ideally.

First make sure you are on the latest bios for the motherboard. Then choose the deafault Intel profile. This should help, but post the results here.

The hwmonitor i linked in the first post above is after a bios update and on default profile. Below is the bios he used.

MSi has not yet released a final BIOS with the latest Microcode, here is a reddit thread complaining about it https://www.reddit.com/r/MSI_Gaming/comments/1g13u5p/intel_0x12b_microcode/
You may be able to find a beta BIOS with the latest microcode.

Once they do release a final BIOS, download the BIOS and then use the Intel default profile.
