ICC ODI World Cup 2011

Have to fancy pakistan for this as my dark horses.
Not superstars, but any player can step up and put in a great performance.
Bowling in depth to add as well.

Neither England or India will win this, obviously I'd love to be wrong in this prediction.

SA/AUS/PAK most likely.

They're playing at home. Their top order is Sehwag, Tendulkar, Gambhir. They have Virat Kohli, currently ranked no2 batsman in ODI cricket, and he might not even get into the side. Indian pitches spin a lot, and they could have as many as 5 spinners bowling in a match.

I think that India should get to semi finals at least. And from there on, they stand a good chance of winning.

Anyone know if Eng's warmups are on TV ? need my fix :d

So far, none of the games have been on tv in this country. England's should be though.

Impressive demolition of Australia by SA today. Steyn is going to be a handful no matter what the wicket is like and Tahir gives us an attacking spinning option for the first time ever. With Amla, Kallis, de Villiers and Smith we have the capablities of scoring big totals. Just hope they don't choke.

England win their warmup game vs Canada.
Second (third?) tier bowling attack used, but Broady was amazing on his return.
Deserved more then his 5 wickets tbh.

To be fair, we played a lineup of people needing fitness, or form over a team which would be intended to win.
I would be shocked if our setup for the first real game was anything like the one used today.

LOL England struggle to beat Canada by 16 runs...a team that doesnt even regard cricket as a real sport:p....majority of the Canadian team are made up of ex pat Pakistani's and Indians.

It seems sometimes england only get fired up ashes series. Still ex pak/indian's players are good. I wonder what accent they have?:p

India v NZ warm up game.

Scorecard reads nicely

Sehwag 23 (30)
Tendulkar 17 (23)
Gambhir 89 (85)
Kohli 59 (68)
Dhoni!! 108* (64)
Raina !! 50 (26)
Pathan 3* (4)

360/5

Considering they added 144 runs in the last 11 overs... not bad :p

Broad with some inspired bowling of the likes we've not seen since the Ashes in England.

Broad - 6 Overs - 1 Maiden - 12 runs - 3 wickets - 2.00 Econ.

Pakistan have all but lost already, 13 overs in and only 46 runs lol
Great bowling today , Anderson aside who was expensive.
