I'm in need of some adivce as the speakers in my Saxo VTR just can't cut it at high volume. As I mainly listen to bass'y music the speakers distort fast when I turn the volume up.
Now I have parcel mounted 240w Kenwood 6x9's which have made a difference since being connected (guy I got the car off left them in) but it still needs that extra push. The amp in the boot is a 4 channel 200w amp made by Tornado
.
Now most cars I go in that have subs in the boot I feel spoil the music. The only thing you can hear is bump bump bump and I want something to top up the speakers, give a little push.
What would you recommend I do first? Uprate the front speakers or dive straight in with a sub and new amp maybe?
The HU is a Kenwood KDC-W6027
