Icon view size in finder...

Bit of an annoying problem and I have no idea how to fix it!

Basically, I was browsing through some photos and to make it easier to see which ones to delete, i increased the icon size (right click>show view options>drag slider). Deleted the ones I wanted... Shut down... etc etc.

Now, whenever I open any folders on my system all the icons are large again. If I resize them to small then the next time I open the same folder they are small again. However this does not apply to all folders, and any folder I open where I haven't reduced the icon size, has large icons.

I'm running 10.5.8 if that helps.

Control Click in Finder in white space > Show View Options > Choose desired icon size > Click Use as Defaults at the bottom. Job done

Aah! Can't believe I didn't see the 'use as default' button...! It couldn't be any bigger either! Cheers!
