Bit of a vista noob here......so I just installed vista 32 bit for the first time today, and have set up separate user accounts for me and mrs bottletop.
The problem is with desktop icons. She likes an empty desktop, I like application icons on mine, but it seems that if I delete icons from her desktop they also disappear from mine and vice versa. This didn't happen under xp and it's driving me nuts trying to sort it out. I'm set as administrator, have set "show hidden files and folders" to viewable, but cannot access the documents and settings directory as "access is denied".???
Can anyone help me out a bit here?
