If America Falls We Fall

If they want to be in the UN, then they need to abide by UN rules. They don't have to agree with the UN though, and they have every right to over rule it with whatever they think appropriate for their own country.

It does however set a good precident to actually work together with other nations. I see no reason why it would really interfere with congress and it's power. I see no reason why the UN would be being consulated before congress either. In my mind the USA should agree/disagree first, then take their position to the UN.

I think this is really just a case of bad integration with the UN. (i.e. teething issues).

To all the American haters. We hadn't stopped the Germans. We had run away. Or is your attitude to hell with the rest of Europe, I'm all right jack. What state would the world be in now? We had to go back. Yeah, they charged us for their materials, but they didn't charge us for the lives of their people. Where would you rather be. In debt, or cowering on an Island waiting for the evil empire to swallow you up. I really can't believe the anti-USA feeling that some people, however immature, seem to have in this country. Perhaps you are immigrants, as well as prepubescents. I recommend you do some reading. "All Hell Let Loose" by Max Hastings would be a good starting point. By the way, Stalin was planning on Invading Germany from the rear, long before Germany invaded Russia, despite his alliance at the time with Hitler. So your assumption that Stalin would not have invaded an ally is on dodgy ground. And who did you cite as a deterrent against him doing that? Oh, America. The very Nation that got off their backsides and met the Russians in Berlin. Unbelievable. "But we didn't need America." You have argued against your point as you have made it. Perhaps books won't help you. You can't put in what God's left out.

Seriously you are making yourself look very silly.

America did not join the war because the felt like saving us or for any other reasons other than their own political/financial gain.

They did more damage to Great Britain than the war ever did and arguably would have done.

this lead to the fall of the roman empire.

Actually many would argue that the era of Augustus and later emperors were the golden ages of the Roman empire. Considering that the Roman empire fell some 450-500 years after the civil war I think it's a bit of a stretch to link the two.

To understand the above video you just need to watch GW Bush snr. 1991 New World Order speech:

"We have before us the opportunity to forge for ourselves and for future generations a new world order, a world where the rule of law, not the law of the jungle, governs the conduct of nations. When we are successful, and we will be, we have a real chance at this new world order, an order in which a credible United Nations can use its peacekeeping role to fulfill the promise and vision of the U.N.'s founders."
