If i move to england will it be less brutal than scotland

**** i hope so, so many council house saddos in scotland, "i've hard a hard life etc" when they don't know the meaning of a hard life, i am thinking the obvious london, but please tell me else where for a peaceful life! The best road in scotland is the road out to england or something like that??

London for a peaceful life? Perhaps if you never left your house and had extreme sound insulation. London's great but peaceful or sedate are words that I'd never associate with it.

If you just want peaceful then try a small town or village somewhere, preferably look into it a bit before you move as many small towns also have their problems.

You might also want to fully star the swearing in your original post.

Wow i hate jambos, and no i am not a celtic/hibs person, just hate jambos with their, "i love the queen" bull**** when in reality they are the lowests forms of life you could ever meet and live in gettos like gorgie!

That's not been my experience with Hearts fans and I know quite a few.

People like you anger me.

If you don't like where you stay, then move. Its easy, its your life. Change it.

Sounds like your bitter about something, which seems massively surrounded by football. Scotland has its bad bits, I used to stay in some pretty bad bats, but then so does everywhere. Stop moaning and change YOUR life if your not happy.

Peacfull life, to me that would be out in the sticks, growing most of my own stuff. Farmers markets. Good village community and a local pub. So not London. Of course that usually needs a fair bit of money to live in such places.

Just got back from 2 weeks in the lake district, that's almost word for word what it seems like up there. I bet they hide all the hard stuff through

Well i have two degrees and plenty of experiences and ambition so i think i will be ok.

Please take your "two degrees" and move south, I hear they need more people in England, especially London where there's tons of jobs and money falls from the sky.

Not that I don't agree that the OP should indeed move if it's affecting him that badly, but I'm sick and tired of people throwing this particular comment around.

If you're in such a financial position that you can just decide to move home on a whim, then I envy you. I really do.
