I was rather pleased with this shot of an iguana I got at the Stratford Butterfly Farm. Ironically I think it's also my best shot of the day :rolleyes:
What do you guys think?

Taken with my D80 using Nikkor 70-300 VR @ 300mm, 1/125 sec, F8

wow the quality is excellent, i'm guessing you meant the 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 AF-S? How much did you crop the image?

I'm after a new lens with similar specs, but haven't heard good things about the 70-300. You've just tempted me to press the buy button. :p

Whats it like in low light conditions?
