ihone or the new versioon 3gs

hi

i am thinking about trading my blackberry storm and 16gb ipod touch in for a new iphone.

my question is really is it worth getting a newer version or might i just as well get the 3g version

both options are the 16gb versions

is there a real noticable difference between the 2 for an average user?

I think you'd have to be being spectacularly cheap to buy a 3G instead of a 3GS today, the extra performance is noticeably, depends how much you mind the slightly sluggish performance on a 3G. But neither is a cheap phone at the end of the day...

3gs,

whats the point in not getting hte best for your money

the normal 3g is a bit slow compared to the new one.

Id go with the 3GS as well...having played on my bros one...its pretty quick compared to my sis in laws 3G, which i found sluggish and she hasnt got that many apps on hers.

from looking around though, it seems it was rather the new update v 3.0 that has sorted out many of the 3g models issies.

is this incorrect?
