Okay, it would be so simple and easy to do in photoshop, but illy tends to be a little more complicated for some reason.
I currently want to create an arrow and to fill it with squares consisting of 2 colours - so instead of the arrow being one colour it's filed with squares consisting of two colours.
I have created four squares (2 purple and 2 yellow) and dragged them to the swatches and I can only seem to appl it whilst the shape/symbol is in isolation mode, and when I exit isolation mode the pattern just covers the entire workspace.
