I'm looking for something to go through all the shots from Saturdays shoot and automatically get rid of the ones where they

A) Blinked
B) Weren't smiling
or C) They 'weren't ready so omg take it again

600 shots to get through, gonna be here all night me thinks :p :(

I fully expect retina bleeding :(

Is Lightroom not suitable just go through marking images 1,2,3 and the reast leave balnk except for those special ones- give them a five? :D

If you don't have lightroom theres Lightroom 3 beta somewhere...

I use Aperture to manage everything, if its rubbish I just delete it straight off, be nice if what I originally wanted existed though :p

In lightroom, if you press shift + 1 (or any number up to 5), it rates the photo and selects the next one. If it's just a quick yes/no selection you should be able to do a photo every couple of seconds. I expect aperture will have a similar shortcut, might be worth checking.

600 shots is nothing. Try sorting 3k worth of shots in one go!.

Just flick through them, it wont take long.

I am, gotta burn the background out on each of them afterwards though which is the time consuming bit. Ahhh well nevermind :D

I don't think I have one photo which has come out as I expected\hoped\prayed, I await the day it happens! Starting to get a bit disheartened
