Evening.

Well I've just been having this conversation with my friend on msn tonight actually, but I can't help to think how fast life is passing me by at the moment, I feel like all things are leading to the future rather than for the moment. I'm currently on the last school summer holidays I will have as next year I will be getting myself all sorted for Uni and hoping that I've got in places and things like that.

I'm listening to The Smiths at the moment, and it's making me feel old. I was talking to this chav the other day who was telling me about her website and how it "ad all me m8s on, n woz gr 8" and it was all jazzed up and colourful and she asked me why mine wasn't like that and I was just thinking - hmm, I've seemed to have grown up! :(.

You'll probably tell me to grow a backbone and enjoy life, I do, I just want it to slow down! FFS Time - slow the **** down. I'm 17 - how the crap did that happen so soon? I've lived 1/4 of my life already and tbh I wish I could have relived loads of it but only down to the fact it's raced past.

argghh don't like it. :(

You have gotten the wrong end of that one mate.

Life is about living it, learning from what you have lived to make the to lived be more liveable. ;)

You are who you are, being youthful does not mean you have to do stereotypically young things, just do what YOU want to do and woe the person who tells you to do otherwise.

Life is for living, that is what you are currently doing.

I was just discussing this same thing with some mates on an irc channel I've been on for nigh on 6 years now (how sad is that?).
Time seems to have flown by, but everything is yet to come...

I'm 38 , so i'm at half time. I wish i could relive lots of my life , but heh.

Make the most of it now ,the clock keeps ticking and it just keeps getting faster.

I've found that as I've got older my perception of time passing has acclerated and from speaking to my parents/grandparents this doesn't really stop. It only seems like a month or two since I started work after my degree but in reality it's been 3 years.

Although I was only young, I can remember "The Queen is dead" coming out. You weren't even born :(

It goes quicker the older you get I'm afriad!

at any rate I wouldn't say some taste in web design should make you feel old. I want to say something profound here but it eludes me.

Maybe you've been underclocking your life?

we all seriously need to get out more and see more, this forum is full of people, myself included who probably witter away far too much time infront of a pc screen. It isnt remotely productive.

nothing comes of it in the end. its all wasted time.

we need to all get out and see the world!

I agree with you, When i was young a week use to seem to take an age to pass, now it seems that a year goes faster than a week did when i was 4..... Its weird but time seems to be getting faster and faster, passing more quickly each day... everyone has noticed it, everyone says its so.... But time cant logicaly pass any slower, or quicker than it always has.... but for some reason it is doing :( Ah well what can you do... just enjoy life

I remember thinking similar things when I was 17 - I'm 26 now and it only seems 5 minutes ago.

Looking back I've done a hell of a lot of stuff in that time but you still wonder where it goes.

Who says time even exists. Actually don't see any reason why it couldn't, but that's a whole different kettle of tesco's finest. :)
