Here's the best bit. All these amazing specs and the TV costs less than £500. It looks gob smackingly good value. What do you guys think?

Without seeing the picture in the flesh it is hard to comment.
For comparison a lot of big brand 32" lcd tvs are around £599-£650.

The only thing you haven't mentioned in your spec list is the response time. 16ms or less would be good as you don't want ghosting.

Anyone know what the miria is like for the PC?

i tried it on vga output on pc connecting to the vga input on the LCD and didn't like it but i only use it for 360/dvd movie and freeview recordings.

BUT
You can also use DVI output on pc and get a dvi to hdmi adapter and plug that into the hdmi on the TV, i would gather then it would give a perfect picture

Doesn't DVI to HDMI cause overscan, or what I assume is overscan where the image doesn't quite fit the screen? I have very slight overscan on my Samsung 32" HD CRT (lose a bit at the sides, and a bit off the bottom) via DVI to HDMI.

Don't forget that DVI doesn't carry audio either; not that it matters from a PC.

(Here's a Wiki on overscan: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overscan )
