Pretty tempting if it works on Induction then as i wouldn't mind one for steaks.

I have one and doesn’t work so well on an electric hob sadly. Still need to try it on the bbq as should get better results.

I want Almost Famous again but it would be like my 4th copy! Worse than Star Wars.

It's likely going to be a while before I get the chance to properly test it as the weather is not being agreeable for polishing. A few things I've noticed just quickly checking it out. It's actually made in Japan which is unusual. (not that it necessarily makes a difference) In free spin mode is very easy to stall unless at a very high speed setting. (which will chew the battery very quickly) This issue is well covered on the reviews on the PO6000C mains powered version. This may improve with use as it all seems pretty tight currently and probably needs some use to loosen up a bit. Forced rotation mode seems to be great. It's certainly on par with the festool which costs a lot more.

Anyway, the rest of the kit arrived today.
    Rupes Uno pure polish kit
Rupes DA fine polish + 5" + 6" foam pads (bought prior to knowing about the trial kits above)
14" Korean Waffle Weave Glass Cloth
Tolco Acid Resistant Trigger Spray Head + bottle
125mm Makita backing pad for the polisher
    2x Makita 5Ah LXT batteries
    Festool 150mm P40/P60/P180 sandpaper
32mm Sealey spanner for central heating pipework

Find it strange how some later Subarus have slower 0-60 times than some the earlier models.
