Now that's an unboxing i would actually watch.

God, i'm imagining the smell once cracked open from here...

/grabs another nightcap brought on by peer pressure.
Ha just for you:

I’m loving the Kilchoman Loch Gorm. That is going down an absolute treat.

The Caol Ila super fine but the Loch Gorm is more distinct.

Yeah, the Kilchoman Loch Gorm goes down very nicely - I've not tried the Caol Ila.

My brother has recently moved to Scotland - so i'll add that on to the ever increasing list of Malts he's building up to bribe me to travel 700 odd miles to visit in the summer.

Nice to see a decent measure in a weighty glass - enjoy!

Cheers /clinks

Cheers! :D

Yeah, great glass. Found it at a random garden centre. It’s so wonderfully heavy. I was once served a whisky in a plastic beaker :(

I know what you mean. I've been bought different, expensive, tumblers over the years - but i have a glass, not totally dissimilar to yours (thinner rim), which is my favourite. And it may be psychological - but the whisky tastes better when drinking from it! (the glass is probably impregnated by 20 odd distilleries - so it's maturing my drink for the few minutes it's in my glass :D)

That's all types of wrong :/

Pretty sure people don't actually enjoy drinking whisky and they just convince themselves that it is nice.
Yep - and it's the same with the beautiful, naked form of a woman, but somehow i find a way to struggle through.

I'm a trooper though, so i will persevere.

I dropped by glass that looked like that and don't know where to look to buy something similar :(

Mine is a Dartington Glass tumbler - the design has changed slightly - Clicky (*health warning - price may cause alarm.)

EDITED: As Clicky - had wrong price listed and was causing 'glass hyper-tension'...

Thanks for the link but that price is frankly mental!
I wouldn't pay more than £5 :p
You do get two - but that implies you want to share your amber nectar. You can buy them singular at £25... but understand if price is off putting.

I've seen similar from 'independent' department stores with homeware sections, about that price. I browse glasses, knives and pans while the wife looks at croc wear and runner thingys...

Lovely spec but that tubing..... Its all over the place and frankly looks like a mess.

All that money and it looks pretty ugly.

Apart from that, what an awesome build!

Yeah, previous owners tubing was not the best to look at but was functional. I plan to retube it with hardwall but for now I am going to enjoy it for a while :)
