It wsa quite difficult to catch the moment, especially as i wanted to use the flash as well to help freeze the moment so that meant only one frame could be taken (sigma flashes are slooooow). No fancy trigger setup either unfortunatly, just a matter of practice.
For anyone interested in having a go I found the best way to judge the timing is to actually close your eyes and just fire slightly after you throw. I found trying to do it by sight would always result in firing too slow. I also learnt that when using this method you should remove anything breakable from the room first!
